HIV/AIDS education in Vietnam
The Women in Difficult Circumstances project

The "Women in Difficult Circumstances" clubs, in Hung Son and Yen Lang communes, Dai Tu district, Thai Nguyen province, consist of women living with HIV/AIDS. Some of the women have been exposed to HIV or infected by their spouses, and others are burdened with taking care of their husbands and relatives with HIV/AIDS.
Working in partnership with the Women Union School, CWS has supported "Training on Knowledge of Drugs and HIV/AIDS" for club members since June, 2007. In addition to equipping the learners with the knowledge and skills to deal with HIV/AIDS, the training also gives these women a chance to express their feelings and thoughts, to exchange experience, and to encourage each other for a better life.
