Advocacy/Capacity Building for Churches & Ecumenical Organizations in South America

With support from Church World Service and the World Council of Churches, CREAS trained 100 church and ecumenical leaders in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Peru on methods and tools to carry out more effective lobbying and advocacy work at the national level in their countries.
Participants attended workshops, received on-site technical assistance and support to carry out small pilot campaigns. This project is part of CWS's regional emphasis on strengthening churches' participation in public policy debates and civil society.
