Partnership
The CWS Education and Advocacy Program works in partnership with member communions, and faith-based and non-governmental (NGO) organizations. In the US we join partners and coalitions in mobilizing public participation in eradicating hunger and poverty and in pressing our government to reconsider some of its foreign policy priorities in light of the human toll they exact.
Through strategic partnership with non-governmental and faith-based organizations worldwide we support projects commensurate with our goals.
Almost half the people on the planet live on less than $2 a day. We leverage every dollar CWS spends overseas on development by advocating for increased funding for people-centered development programs that can reduce hunger and poverty.
