Circle of the HeartA CIRCLE OF THE HEART

FOOTSTEPS OF HOPE

The story of how CROP WALKS and CROPWALKERS footsteps are making a resounding difference inthe lives of children and families in Honduras and around the world. You'll meet the Dominguez family and celebrate the sounds of hope in their lives — voices reading in a literacy program, women sharing their concerns and dreams in a support group, fresh water fowing from the community's water system. You'll sing along with 11-year-old Baltazar and 5-year-old Federico at they give voice to the hopes and dreams of their family and community — and with folksinger Jim Strathdee, whose specially composed, Honduras-inspired "Walking with the World" adds a toe-tapping coda. FROM SMALL SEEDS: CROP HUNGER WALKS - GROWING LIVES AND LIVELIHOODS

This video highlights the people and passion of a Michigan CROP Hunger Walk, played out against dramatic footage of and interviews with Guatemalan farmers who have been helped by CROP Hunger Walk funds. This multi-faceted piece presents the featured video in two lengths - one full with a music video at the end and one a shorter five-minute version - along with five Minutes for Mission, a CROP Hunger Walk PSA, and the CWS 60th anniversary video. The story of how the Church World Service TOOLS & BLANKETS Program creates a rainbow of help and hope each time the right tool is placed in the hands of people in need. This fast-moving, upbeat video highlights some of the many primary tools that can create a palette of possibilities for people devastated by tragedy, as well as those working to build a better life for themselves and their communities. You'll see how Church World Service/CROP is making a difference in one of the world's poorest places -- Cambodia. A sensitive, heartwarming glimpse of the Columbus, Ohio, CROP WALK, one of the largest hunger walks in the nation. WE CHANGE THE WORLD

It's remarkable what your gift will do. This four-and-a-half minute music video juxtaposes scenes of what your gifts to Church World Service can make possible with Babbie Mason's inspiring song. The video is an ideal compliment to a CWS TOOLS & BLANKETS celebration, a CROP WALK kick-off event, and a worship service -- perhaps as an offertory or a call to worship. It's excellent for small or large groups of all ages, from children's programs to church school classes to adult Bible studies.

WITH WINGS OF HOPE

Since ancient times, the crane has been a symbol of peace and long life for the Vietnamese. During the war, the cranes disappeared from the country. Today, as the land is healing from its war wounds, the cranes are returning to Vietnam. With wings of hope, the rebirth of Vietnam is happening. You can see it in the children, in the smiles, in their spirit, as they soar with a future of hope and promise. This video lets you walk with young people — and the young-at-heart — in the United States as they let their caring take wings in their local CROP WALK.
