The JVA office in Nairobi and the OPE office in Accra implement an operational refugee processing program in sub-Saharan Africa through a Cooperative Agreement with the Department of State/Bureau for Population, Refugees, and Migration (DOS/PRM). The refugees they depart for resettlement in the United States are received and placed by 10 U.S. agencies, including Church World Service.
