Early self-sufficiency is a goal -- and strength -- of the U.S. Refugee Program. In a public-private partnership with 10 U.S. voluntary agencies, including Church World Service, refugees are properly welcomed and accommodated upon arrival, oriented to their new communities, and assisted to find work.

Across the CWS network of 35 local resettlement affiliates in 23 states, employment specialists build relationships with local employers, who are essential partners in refugees' success. What's more, employers testify to refugees' strong work ethic and to how diversity strengthens their work force.

Following are links to profiles of enterprises identified by CWS affiliates as exemplary employers of refugees. Additional profiles will be added in the days to come.
