Miami Office - U.S. Reception and Placement Program
The program is designed to provide and facilitate primary resettlement services to persons who, having documented a “credible fear of persecution” by authorities in their home country, are recognized as refugees and have been accepted for resettlement through the U.S. Refugee Program. The primary goal of the program is to ensure that refugees receive assistance that leads to effective resettlement and economic self-sufficiency in the shortest possible time following their arrival in the United States.
