Making fish puppets and a mobile

Fish puppets
Materials: card stock, glue, sequins, glitter,
craft sticks, “wiggly” eyes
-
Draw fish shapes onto card stock — the back
side of a cereal box will work.
-
Glue on a plastic “wiggly” eye and decorate
the fish scales by gluing on either sequins or glitter.
-
Tape a craft stick on the back to make this into a
stick puppet.
- Use the puppets to retell the story from Bolivia
Fish mobile
Materials: craft foam, scissors,
sequins, glitter, glue, marker, coat hanger, fish line
-
Cut out fish shapes from craft foam and decorate the
same way you did the puppets.
-
On the back side of each fish, write items that are
made available through the CWS Blankets+ Program
(nets, rafts, hoes, wells, goats, cattle, for example).
-
Use fishing line attached to the top of each one and
onto a coat hanger to make a mobile of a “school” of fish.
-
This can be hung in a place to remind your congregation
what they can do to help people help themselves through CWS.
