This position is primarily responsible for conducting personal interviews with refugee applicants in a non-confrontational, objective and dignified manner to obtain biographic and demographic information to complete a refugee case history as required by JVA and the U.S. Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS). This involves frequent travel to refugee camps in eastern and southern Africa. This position reports directly to the Assistant Supervisor for Field Team Leaders and Caseworkers and works closely with other field team staff and interpreters.
