• AoC’s partner had been providing food support to children’s institutions in Iraq since 1997 with funding from a donor government. When this funding ended suddenly they approached AoC for help. With AoC support they were able to continue delivery of fresh food for two months until another large donor could be identified.
• Institutions supported:
  • 15 Orphanages
  • 2 Homes for mentally disabled children
  • 2 Homes for Street Children
  • 2 Homes for Elderly
• During this 8 week period 6 distributions of fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, pasta, eggs and cheese were made to each institution.
