Dear friends in the U.S.A.
The Tragic event at the Tech University in Virginia was shocking to all of us and we were so sad to see innocent people in their youth age seeking knowledge, truth, and skill to engineer their societies toward a better and bright future, became victims of this wrong act, of an unexpected violence that claimed their peaceful, youthful life.
The members of the Arab Group for Christian – Muslim Dialogue, and the Forum for Development, Culture and Dialogue, express their sympathy in this time of sorrow and humbly offer condolences to the people of the U.S.A., and specially to the families of the victims.
Being in a region engulfed with violence, and knowing that among the victims were Egyptian and Lebanese students, we are troubled with this act of violence and killing in Virginia. It urges us all to work and advocate for a world of peace and to work against all forms of violence.
May God the Loving and merciful have mercy on the innocent victims, and our prayers accompany the families of the victims.
God's Peace be with you all.
