In a coalition effort, Church World Service is assisting displaced and vulnerable people in the Darfur region of western Sudan with:

essential household items – blankets, cooking
sets, water containers, mosquito nets, soap, and plastic sheets and mats
health education and clinics
wells and latrines construction and rehabilitation
seeds, tools, and tree seedlings, particularly for
woman-headed households
supplementary food for at-risk children,
pregnant and lactating mothers
school construction and rehabilitation
adult education and livelihood training
peacebuilding and trauma counseling
