Upcoming Iraq Action Days promote peace and relief for Iraq

The Education for Peace in Iraq Center, EPIC, has announced Iraq Action Days, April 14-16, in Washington, D.C. Iraq Action Days provide an opportunity to promote peace and relief for the people of Iraq. Church World Service is a cosponsor of the event.

On Monday, April 14, the Institute for Middle East Studies at George Washington University will host a major policy forum on the Humanitarian Crisis Facing Iraqis, sponsored by EPIC and a number of humanitarian aid agencies, including Refugees International, Mercy Corps, International Rescue Committee, and Church World Service. Then on April 15 and 16, participants will meet with their members of Congress to urge them to do more to address urgent humanitarian needs in Iraq and the region.
