ERP recognized for domestic partnership
The National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NVOAD) has recognized the CWS Emergency Response Program and Habitat for Humanity International for their partnership to repair and rebuild homes along the Gulf Coast. The National Partnership Award, awarded Thursday at the NVOAD conference in Alberquerque, N.M., follows an earlier announcement that the CWS/Habitat grant program will be extended for another $1 million. The total $4 million grant program will help repair and rebuild 600 homes damaged by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
