400 Afghan refugee women in Pakistan earned a small income
in a CWS-sponsored project to make 60,000 quilts for distribution
to refugee families. CWS used 20,000 of the quilts in Family
Shelter Kits.
CWS staff took the following photos showing the entire process of the quilt-making project:
