More than 17,5000 HIV/AIDS orphans and other vulnerable children in Rwanda,
Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya are participating in an innovative program that
addresses their rights and needs and empowers them with agricultural, vocational,
and life-skills training. In November 2006, CWS marketing and communications
director Ann Walle visited some of the program sites in Rwanda and Kenya.
In Rwanda, the program is entering its fourth year; in Kenya, the program
is new this year.
