Suzie Carter rushed to help after an unscrupulous contractor
took nearly all her parent's money for repairing their Slidell, La.
home. The CWS- Habitat for Humanity International grant paid for
new kitchen cabinets, and donated labor from CWS disaster response
partner, the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee worked until
the home was in move-in condition. '“Without their help, I really don’t
know what we would have done,” Carter said.
