Beyond the US, CWS is ushering education and advocacy on water through the worldwide ecumenical family. Through the Ecumenical Water Network, CWS invites the church at large to engage with the water crisis. Meeting in Porto Alegre, Brazil, last month, the World Council of Churches urged churches and ecumenical bodies to take a stand for water.
