For 25 years, Greg Weemhoff has participated in the Geauga County CROP Hunger
Walk (Ohio). Born with cerebral palsy, he is all too familiar with the daily
challenges that people face. One of his many passions in life is to help
people in need. One of his favorite ways of doing so is to participate in
the CROP Hunger Walk. Months before the Walk, Weemhoff sends letters out
to friends and family members, asking them to sponsor him for the CROP Hunger
Walk. Over the past 25 years, Weemhoff has raised more than $100,000 to help
people all over the world through Church World Service. This year, his support
came from 110 people in 13 states and the District of Columbia.
