ABOUT CHURCH WORLD SERVICE
Church World Service is a cooperative ministry of 36 Protestant, Orthodox, and Anglican denominations, providing sustainable self-help and development, disaster relief, and refugee assistance in more than 80 countries.

CWS carries out its worldwide mission through five major programs: Emergency Response, Social and Economic Development, Immigration and Refugees, Mission Relationships and Witness, and Education and Advocacy.

Service is a publication of Church World Service that updates our supporters about our activities around the world, shedding light on the plight of our neighbors near and far. It is our goal to be their advocate and do whatever is within our power to help them help themselves. Church World Service exists today because people like you believe that everyone is entitled to taste the fruit of compassion and mercy. We invite you to do whatever is within your power to help our cause.
