A grand idea for a Walk

Rachel Kauffman and Susan Givler decided to coordinate the CROP Hunger Walk in Bellefontaine, Ohio, in 2007 and to give it a new twist: a Grandparent and Grandchild Walk. "It is important to us that we pass on this commitment of serving others to the younger generation," says Susan.

Eleven grandparent-grandchildren sets were part of the more than 200 Walkers who raised over $23,000 - an increase of 1050% over the last time Bellefontaine CROP walked!
