Plan an alternative giving event
- Order an Alternative Holiday Market Packet for ideas on how to promote an alternative to a consumer-oriented observance of the holidays.
- Set a date and announce it to your congregation.
- Set up a table display featuring Tools & Blankets Program projects and stories. Provide hard copies of the Best Gift Catalog for use during your event.
- Put stories and announcements about the alternative giving event in your worship bulletin weeks prior to the event. (See Bulletin Insert below.)
- Provide CWS gift cards available from CWS for each person or family honored with a gift.
